Community Church of All People
If there is a single word that describes what Christmas is all about, it’s the little word “joy.” Many of our favorite carols mention it: “Joy to the world, the Lord is come,” “O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,” “Shepherds, why this jubilee, why your joyous strains prolong?” “Joyful all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies, with the’ angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem”.
This Christmas Community of ALL People United Church of Christ in Reston, Virginia brought joy to the hearts of many families by distributing over 700 toys.
On December 15 CAPUCC held its Christmas Party at Washington Plaza Baptist Church. Children and adults from different countries (Mexico, El Salvador, Iran, Ethiopia, and attended and reflected the ethnic diversity of the Reston Community. The activities yincluded get acquainted games, food, and music and was planned in collaboration with Toys for Tots, Forward Future Youth Services, and Washington Plaza Baptist Church.
CAPUCC worships every Sunday at 4:00 pm, Lake Anne Plaza, Washington Plaza Baptist Church (lower level) 1615 Washington Plaza, Reston, Virginia.
