FAITH & DEMOCRACY 2022

Just like in 2020, we are responding to the present dangers and being faithful to the call of Christ to continue His ministry. The Justice & Witness Action Network has launched Faith & Democracy 2022 a unified, coordinated and strategic campaign to engage justice leaders, clergy and local churches across the Central Atlantic Conference in non-partisan civic engagement, including:

Voter Registration
Voter Education & Empowerment
Get Out The Vote
Election Protection
Voting Rights Advancement

This Campaign is organized around faith and democratic principles of valuing and affirming the voice and dignity of all, especially “the least of these” among us. And, the belief that every person has a right to participate fully, freely and fairly in the democratic process without fear, intimidation, limitations or false information.

This Campaign will honor the voices of our Network members who overwhelmingly voted for our first federal issues campaign on Voting Rights Advancement & Combating Voter Suppression. The gridlock in the U.S. Senate must be overcome. And, we must not stand-by and watch the attacks on our voting rights and the ruthless subversion of our democracy.
