    The Rev. Dr. Sushama Austin-Connor is Program Director of the MOSAIC Storytelling Initiative at the National Council of Churches, where she leads a multi-year, Lilly Endowment–funded effort to amplify diverse faith stories and strengthen ecumenical witness across Christian traditions. A longtime leader in continuing education and public ministry, she previously served as Chief Program Officer and Acting Executive Director of Faith Matters Network and as Founding Program Director of the Black Theology and Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary. She also serves as chaplain at Christina Seix Academy.

    Dr. Austin-Connor maintains a lifelong commitment to the United Church of Christ. She is a member of Christ Congregation in Princeton, with roots at Peoples Congregational UCC in Washington, D.C., where her faith journey began. Sushama cherishes life with her husband, Rob, and their two sons, Lekh and Rowan in Trenton, NJ.
